THE WHOLE WORLD knows the story of Cinderella. In fact, most of us know two or three different versions. But there are thousands of folk tales and hidden gems from every corner of the world that have become timeless classics in their local communities, without ever reaching any further.
Supergreat Kids’ Stories is a podcast of exciting, moving, traditional folk and fairy tales from all over the world, chosen to suit ages 5 to 105. I’m the presenter, one of the storytellers, and the co-producer of the podcast, with my friend and colleague David Smith, of audio production company, Wardour Studios.
Launched in September 2020, it shot straight to the top of the Apple UK Family and Education podcast charts, ahead of established shows from successful, high-profile celebrities.
The show is a collaboration between storyteller and radio producer Kim Normanton and her friend and colleague David Smith, of audio production company, Wardour Studios. It’s a collection of fun, moving, traditional folk tales, read by some of the best storytellers from around the world, recommended for ages 5 to 105.
I’ll be sharing more information here soon, but in the meantime, why not check out our latest story…
